Li'l Champs in Mangere Bridge

White Heron @ the Bridge is an education and care service in Mangere Bridge with a current roll of 46 children. Our analysis of the October 2024 ERO report identified B grades across curriculum and learning, bicultural practice, and leadership and governance. The service has a culturally responsive curriculum with emerging Te Whāriki alignment, consistent use of te reo Māori and Pacific languages, and a collaborative leadership culture with developing evaluation practices.

Bridge Kids is an education and care service in Mangere Bridge with 80 children on roll. Our analysis of the ERO report identified bicultural practice as an area for development, with bicultural approaches beginning and identified as an area for strengthening teacher capability. Leadership and governance was graded as incorporating collaborative professional learning and mentoring with documented improvement focus.

Tadpoles Early Childhood Centre is an education and care service in Mangere Bridge with a roll of 75 children. Our analysis of the ERO report (May 2023) grades the service as B across all dimensions: curriculum and learning, children's wellbeing, bicultural practice, health and safety, and leadership and governance. The centre has consistent Te Whāriki implementation with play-based learning, though assessment practice requires further development.
