"Kaimahi have clear processes for mokopuna learning. The kaiako matua takes a strong leadership role in supporting all kaimahi with planning, assessment, and evaluation of the learning programme. They meet and plan collaboratively. The mahere a tau is well considered and informs term planning. This informs monthly and weekly plans and guides the daily programme. Kaimahi gather assessment information on individual mokopuna each term. The information is detailed, specific and compiled in individual profile books that show mokopuna progress and achievement over time. Programme evaluation is a regular practice for kaimahi."
