"Mokopuna participate in an environment where te reo Māori and tikanga Māori are prioritised, and learning is joyful and engaging. Kaimahi encourage mokopuna to take part in formal events such as pōwhiri, where they observe and begin to understand karanga and mihi ki te tangata in action.
