"Planning, assessment and programme evaluation are cohesive, collective practises. The kaiako matua are respected kuia with years of experience in the kōhanga reo who guides the implementation of Te Whāriki a Te Kōhanga Reo. Planning is informed by the seasons, atua Māori and reflects yearly, termly, monthly and daily aspects. This is systematically broken down into kaupapa whānui, kaupapa whāiti and additional learning experiences with clear outlines of whāinga and outcomes."
Exemplary planning, assessment and Te Whāriki implementation with systematic, intentional teaching.

"Emergency evacuation drills are overdue. Whānau must ensure that emergency drills including fire, earthquake, tsunami and lockdown are carried out and documented at least once every three months. Mokopuna safety in an emergency is compromised."
Non-compliance with emergency drill requirements; supervisor ratios and other safety areas appear compliant.

How this is computedOne or more dimensions missing from ERO data
Where Te Kōhanga Reo o Mataatua ki Mangere hasn't been graded on a dimension, the composite uses the national average for that dimension as a placeholder. Each affected axis below is flagged est. When a new ERO review lands, the placeholder is replaced and the score may shift.
