Busy Bees Carterton was reviewed by ERO in October 2022. Our analysis of the ERO report identified strengths in curriculum and learning, children's wellbeing, health and safety, and leadership and governance (all grade B), with bicultural practice (grade C) noted as an area for development, particularly in teacher confidence with te reo Māori and tikanga integration.

ERO's Akarangi review (July 2024) assessed the service across three dimensions. Our analysis of the ERO report grades curriculum and learning, children's wellbeing, and whānau partnership all as B: Te Whāriki outcomes are integrated through assessment and planning; children show strong belonging and positive experiences in an inclusive programme; and whānau actively contribute with their goals valued.

Our analysis of the ERO report identified strong bicultural practice (grade A) and solid performance in curriculum and learning, children's wellbeing, whānau partnership, and health and safety (all grade B), though the service was noted as requiring further development overall.

Carterton Preschool is an education and care service in Carterton North for up to 32 children. Our analysis of the ERO report (July 2024) found Whānau partnership was graded A, with active family participation and responsiveness to family goals demonstrated.
