The service was reviewed by ERO in January 2021. Our analysis of the ERO report found the centre graded B across curriculum and learning, bicultural practice, and health and safety, indicating the curriculum supports cultural knowledge and respect for diverse heritages, and bicultural knowledge is intentionally developed.

Potiki Early Childhood Centre is an education and care service in Clendon with a roll of 39 children. An ERO review in December 2023 found caring relationships and emotional wellbeing support in place. Our analysis of the ERO report identified areas for development in curriculum assessment, health and safety compliance, and leadership processes.

Our analysis of the ERO report shows the service received A grades for children's wellbeing and leadership & governance, with B grades for curriculum & learning, whānau partnership, and health & safety. The service implements Te Whāriki framework with Maramataka alignment and has strong governance and relational trust, though intentional teaching and learning-focused whānau partnerships have been identified as areas for improvement.

Clendon Christian Preschool is an education and care service with 80 children. ERO's December 2023 review found children communicate confidently and routines are valued; our analysis of the ERO report identified children's wellbeing as a strength. Bicultural practice includes te ao Māori elements and Pacific language weeks, though our analysis suggests this could be embedded more deeply.
