Skills and knowledge from parents and the local community are used well to extend children's experiences. Teachers plan collaboratively to develop programmes and activities that reflect children's interests."

"Parents who spoke to ERO during the review appreciate the frequent opportunities that teachers provide for conversations about their child's progress and development. They value the interactive digital communication and portfolios showing their child's learning and involvement in the programme."
Effective communication and parent engagement; opportunity to deepen parent involvement in review processes.
"The embedding of bicultural practices and understandings, including ways to recognise te ao Māori, is an area teachers continue to develop. It would be helpful now to review the kindergarten philosophy through a bicultural lens and explore further ways to engage parents in the review process."

Composite score
How this is computedOne or more dimensions missing from ERO data
Where Mt Albert Kindergarten hasn't been graded on a dimension, the composite uses the national average for that dimension as a placeholder. Each affected axis below is flagged est. When a new ERO review lands, the placeholder is replaced and the score may shift.
The composite is a weighted average of six ERO dimensions, each scored 0–100 (A=90, B=70, C=50, D=25). The "(p47)" style suffix shows where the centre sits within its EQI band (peer percentile, when ≥10 comparable centres in band). See methodology for the formula + limits.
