What we collect

Daycare Near Me is a free public directory. Browsing centre pages is anonymous — we don't ask you to sign up, and we don't run a behavioural ad network.

• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate page-view, traffic-source and device data. We do not link this to any personal identifier.
• Contact form submissions — name, email, organisation, role, topic and message body. Stored by Netlify Forms and emailed to us.
• FamilyBoost calculator inputs — household income and weekly-fee figures are computed entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to our servers.

How we use it

Contact submissions are used to reply to you and, where relevant, to update or correct content on the site. We don't share contact details with third parties. We don't sell email lists. We don't run retargeting pixels.

Cookies

We set the Google Analytics first-party cookie (_ga, _ga_*). No third-party advertising cookies are set by us. Your browser may also set cookies on resources we link to (logos hosted on third-party domains, for example) — those are governed by the linked site's policy.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what personal data we hold about you and request that we correct or delete it. Email us via the contact form.

Data about NZ early childhood centres

Centre data on this site comes from public sources — the Ministry of Education ECE Directory, the Education Review Office and Charities Services. Centre operators who wish to claim, correct or annotate their listing can do so via the contact form.
